Spendvue is a personal finance tracking tool. It helps you record, visualise, and understand your spending. It is not a bank, a financial advisor, or a regulated financial service.

Nothing in Spendvue — including the Projections tab, the FIRE calculator, the goal tracker, or any other feature — constitutes financial advice. All calculations and projections are illustrative only, based on assumptions you provide. They do not account for taxes, fees, changes in income, or any other personal circumstances. Do not make financial decisions based solely on information in this app. Consult a qualified financial advisor for advice specific to your situation.

You are responsible for the security of your account and your email address. You must provide an accurate email address. You may not create accounts for others without their permission.

You own your data. We do not claim any rights over the financial information you enter. You can export your data at any time and delete your account at any time. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.

You agree not to: use the app for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access another user's data; reverse-engineer or abuse the service; or use the app if you are under 13 years of age.

We aim to keep Spendvue available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service down for maintenance with notice where possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spendvue and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including financial decisions made based on information in the app. Since Spendvue is currently free, our total liability is limited to £0.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

When you create an account, we collect your email address (for sign-in only) and the financial data you enter: transactions, categories, goals, recurring expenses, and currency settings. We also collect basic technical data (device type, browser, OS version) to fix bugs. We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or payment information.

Your financial data is stored securely and used only to display it back to you. Your email is used to send sign-in links and essential account notifications — never marketing, unless you explicitly opt in. Technical data is used in aggregate only to understand app usage and diagnose errors.

We use Supabase (supabase.com) as our database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase's GDPR-compliant infrastructure. We may use privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not collect personal data. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your financial data to train AI models.

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to processing; and lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (UK: ico.org.uk). Email us to exercise any right.

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Row-level security ensures no user can access another user's data. We use magic-link authentication — no passwords are stored.

Spendvue is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Material changes will be notified by email with an updated date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
